URGENT HIRING: Risk and Compliance Officer

We're currently looking for a Risk and Compliance Officer to join our growing family. If you have training and experience in this area, please check out the following requirements and the responsibilities attached to the job.

REQUIREMENTS

● Proactive and detail-oriented

● Excellent communication skills

● Highly analytical and assertive, ethical and confident, and able to make sound judgments

● Above-average skills and knowledge in Information Security

● Knowledge of office productivity tools such as MS Office applications (with above-average skills in MS Excel)

● Preferably someone with a specialization in Risk and Compliance in a BPO set-up or equivalent

● Flexible and willing to do shift schedules

● At least 3 years of experience as a Risk and Compliance Officer

RESPONSIBILITIES

● Secure compliance activity of the company

● Identify and process non-compliant activity

● Responsible for securing regulatory requirements for various government agencies, (e.g., DOLE, BFP, SEC, BSP)

● Responsible for coordinating with subsidiaries and associates to secure necessary documents for compliance

● Making sure the company operates in accordance with the National Privacy Commission

● Ensure that the company is conducting its business in full compliance with all national and international laws and regulations that pertain to its particular industry, as well as professional standards, accepted business practices, and internal standards.

● Making sure the company operates in accordance with the National Privacy Commission

● Help in breach reporting process

● Responsible for monitoring company regulations

● Identify and process non-compliant affiliate activity

● Manage over all preparation, monitoring, and coordination for regulatory audit and visits

● Actively enforcing a mandatory reporting policy and seeking out any weakness in company dealings.

● Scrutinize all the facts without making a snap judgment, and interview any relevant employees for their perspective

● Conduct compliance review and testing

● Handles the application and renewal of regulatory licenses

● Develop a privacy knowledge management program

● Assist in accomplishing related results as needed.

● Solid backbone and the strength to stand by difficult decisions and be more influenced by right versus wrong than by relationships.

● Willing to take the lead in setting the tone for corporate integrity.

COMPENSATION

Full time or Contractual: Negotiable
