On the evening of April 5, Wednesday, University of Iloilo students, their parents, members of the faculty, and PHINMA officials gathered together to congratulate this year's batch of college graduates who completed their internship at Rethink Staffing. At the event, Mr. Windyll Balasa, Chief Operating Officer of Rethink Staffing, was given the stage to deliver a congratulatory speech to the participants of the company's unique on-the-job training program.
In his speech, Mr. Balasa expressed his admiration for the students' dedication to their work and studies. The interns were assigned to the night shift, and performed so well that their stats were as good as that of tenured agents.
Rethink Staffing's COO also relayed his amazement at the discipline and effort put in by the students in meeting expectations at work while continuing to attend their classes during the day. Indeed, the selected batch of interns who worked at RTS for a few months were truly the best and brightest among their peers.
That evening, Mr. Balasa revealed that the company will continue to nurture the brightest talents in Iloilo City through its internship program. It's the only one of its kind in the city. A new batch will be screened and selected this summer.
The event also recognized the achievements of one of the students as a TOSIA 2017 awardee. The Outstanding Students of Iloilo Award (TOSIA) was given to the top performing students in Iloilo City. It honors the accomplishments of Ilonggo students who not only excel academically, but also showed promise as socially responsible leaders of their communities.
